About the Event

Join us for this important gathering to mark the launch of the 30th annual Black History Month. A moment where BC Black Leaders, will be sharing knowledge, and taking action toward creating a more inclusive and equitable future in British Columbia.


The Black in BC Leadership Summit 2025 is an empowering two-day event taking place on January 31st and February 1st, 2025, in Vancouver, BC. As part of the ongoing celebration of the Canadian Decade for People of African Descent, this summit brings together Black leaders, professionals, community advocates, and allies from across British Columbia.


The summit offers a unique platform for participants to engage in powerful discussions, explore strategies for combating systemic racism, and work collectively to build stronger and more resilient Black communities. Through a combination of keynote presentations, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and cultural performances, the event fosters leadership growth, collaboration, and community empowerment.
